Omaha Performing Arts expanded its downtown campus with the Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement, a new space designed to support the organization’s growing education and community engagement programs. The center features a large event venue along with rehearsal, workshop and classroom spaces, providing more opportunities for the more than 100,000 students, teachers and community members OPA serves each year.

The building features 322 custom unitized curtainwall units totaling 35,000 square feet.

The glass facade features ceramic frit patterns and vertical aluminum fins that create a large-scale graphic across the building. Its highly transparent design also opens views into the lobby and studios, connecting the activity inside with the surrounding downtown arts campus.
