Safety: Just One Second.

It’s a respectful acknowledgement that something or someone needs attention.
It’s a request for more time.
It’s a split-second decision.

It’s the hallmark of our safety philosophy. 
When urgency calls, someone needs help, and a decision has to be made…we often say, “Just One Second.”  In that moment with that statement, we respectfully acknowledge someone’s request and we “buy time” to first make a decision, and second, to take action on the request.  What we decide and how we act has the potential to be incredibly important based on the circumstances. 
 
The urgency of the moment demands action, which often encourages shortcuts or risk taking.  The time that we “buy” with Just One Second gives us an opportunity to make a different decision, to finish or correct something that could be a hazard if left undone before you lend that needed helping hand.​
