AWS delivered the complete building envelope for the new Johnston headquarters in 2010, and returned in 2014 to complete the expansion. Our scope included curtainwall, terracotta, sunscreens, interior glass office fronts, and aluminum entrances.

A defining feature of the headquarters is the expansive glazed openings that flood the interiors with natural light, balanced by a variety of sunscreen elements that provide shading. Collaborating directly with OPN Architects, our team designed the horizontal louvered sunscreen on the south facade, as well as the east-facing metal panels and woven mesh screening that add both performance and aesthetic value.
