​After the devastating floods of 2008 destroyed their 25-year-old library and its collections, the City of Cedar Rapids set out to build a new facility for the community. The new library features a playful design that fosters public engagement and collaboration. Curtain wall is utilized throughout the 95,000 sq. ft. building to allow for views between spaces and into the neighborhood. Our team was excited to be a part of rebuilding this important space for the city.
